Identity Crisis is an interactive window installation that uses facial tracking to overlay faces on passers-by.

Michael Shirley gives us the breakdown of the setup:
A projector shoots footage captured by a webcam embedded into our “screen”. The screen was built with gator board for the frame and a vellum sheet was placed inside to capture the rear projection coming from inside the building. Faces are hard to get good lighting on in the day light at this location so to help alleviate the problem we built cases to attach to the frame that house 5 60-LED bulb shoplights.
